These are my goals, where I will be within 2 years
Hi, my name is Mike. You can also call me Mac or Chili or even ChiliMac.
Recently I completed a plan I call Operation Phoenix. Operation Phoenix is about reflection, analysis, growth and change. I came to the conclusion that there are 5 major facets to life and I examined every one of them. Those facets are Spirit, Soul, Health, Personal Business, and Career. The piece of Operation Phoenix I want to talk to you about is health.
I recently lost about 240 pound. I'm currently 195 pounds. I was fairly active when I was younger but in my late 20's and early 30's I became a bit of a sloth. Not anymore. I like to play golf (my handicap is down to am 18), play softball with my friends, shoot baskets with my nephews, ski in the winter time and play tennis or racquetball once in a while. I really enjoy taking bike rides down the lake front and taking pictures (photography is one of my hobbies) of the sunrise over the lake and the sunset over the city. I recently started Aikido lessons also.
I've just finished my book chronicling Operation Phoenix. It was a difficult journey because it has taken a lot for me to open up and share what I have done. It has absolutely been worth it. My book is being published and will be released in a few months. We are in the process of planning the book tour.
Mean while I am also working on the financing for my new foundation (also called "Operation Phoenix"). The goal of the foundation is to work with children to help them develop habits for a healthy life. The world has become an unhealthy place and I want to help kids learn good habits now so they don't have to fight bad habits later. Growing up is hard enough no matter what you have to deal with. A weight problem is not something a child should have to fight along with this.
